Glen W. Sutcliffe is a native Washingtonian who truly knows the distinctive neighborhoods throughout the area.  Licensed to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia since 1999, he has dedicated himself to being among the top real estate agents, which is demonstrated by the following honors:

CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) – achieved by less than 4% of all Realtors nationwide;

GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) – earned by less than 10% of Washington-area Realtors;

One of 15 Realtors selected to the inaugural Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors’ (GCAAR) Leadership Institute;

Former two-term member of GCAAR's Grievance Committee, which is responsible for reviewing ethics complaints and arbitration requests;

Member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation from which he has received special training in historic real estate; and,

Member of the D.C. Historical Society, D.C. Preservation League and numerous citizens and community associations.

Though Glen is proud of these distinctions, the hundreds of pleased clients along with their trust are the successes he values most. 

Glen’s passion also carries into his personal life where he is married and has two lovely children.  He has strong ties in the community, serving a second term on the Board of Trustees for Aidan Montessori School in Woodley Park, coaching a Tee-Ball team in the Northwest Little League, is a Cub Scout Den Leader, and is a Children's Chapel leader at St. Albans Parish.  Prior to real estate, Glen was a United States Senate aide who assisted in the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act and other legislation affecting people with disabilities. 

These are some of Glen's proudest efforts as his parents are Deaf. Naturally, Glen is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL). Glen was also a lobbyist for the states’ attorney-advocates who work on behalf of people with disabilities. For more information, click here.
